Job Title:  Primary Therapist

Expected Credentials:  Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health or other related Human Services Profession 


Supervisor:  Clinical Director  


Job Description:  


This position provides counseling and other related clinical services to adults, young adults, and adolescents with mental health disorders, and family members affected by like conditions of loved ones. Clinical services provided include: evaluations, primary individual therapy, case coordination, educational programming, and group therapy. A primary therapist participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing intensive treatment on issues of mental health and respective co-morbidities. 


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  


The Primary Therapist position requires technical knowledge of behavioral health and human services, as well as issues pertaining to mental health, its etiology, symptoms, treatment and co-morbidities. The therapist must also be knowledgeable about related conditions, counseling, and casework skills. Collaborating with professionals in the community is a critical skill. Insight into family dynamics, the ability to support the development of healthy roles, limit setting, and how to access appropriate community supports in the community is required.

Gavia LifeCare Center is an Outpatient Mental Health Center looking to welcome a NPP to our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, your superior interpersonal and empathetic skills, as well as your comprehension of diagnostic procedures greatly assists in managing and delivering quality treatment. Your role is to meet with clients admitted to Gavia LifeCare Center for psychiatric assessment and treatment. Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team contributing to treatment planning and improving the lives of our clients. This position may be hybrid, part-time or full-time. Job Title:  Clinical Supervisor

If you have been therapist for 4-5 years and considered growing professionally into a supervisory position, then we are interested in talking with you. Gavia LifeCare Center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor for a program focused on Women’s Health. The responsibilities include 60% direct client care and 40 % administration. The administration involves supervising 2 clinicians, with the potential for growth. This Full-Time position is a blend of direct clinical services and administrative responsibilities. Direct clinical series include individual and family psychotherapy, case coordination and group therapy. Administrative responsibilities include supervision for clinicians, maintaining compliance with various regulations such as OMH, and oversight of office operations. This is an opportunity for a person who in excited to learn and passionate about clinician development. The preferred requirements are an individual with experience in Mental Health, has an LCSW or Close to obtaining their LCSW, or LMHC. Job Title:  Office Assistant

If you are passionate about mental health and client care, this is a position that will give you a feeling that you are making a difference in the lives of those you meet. The Office Assistant has a critical role at Gavia LifeCare Center as this is the first person who has contact with clients.

This position provides administrative and secretarial support to the team and is responsible for coordinating office services. The Office Assistance help to set the tone for the office, responding to clients, staff and all visitors with professionalism, curtesy and responsiveness.
